When I look at these two caps compared it really saddens me. The first one, Cas looks almost relieved to have his sister holding a knife above him, like he’s accepting himself to die, that he wants to die, his eyes saying ‘thank you’.

Then in the second one when his sister is killed he looks almost depressed, disappointed as if he was annoyed at him being saved, that he didn’t deserve to be saved that he was ready to drop right there and then.
